Our location
The Kalahari Desert extends over an area of 2,500,000 km², crossing 3 southern African countries: Namibia , Botswana and South Africa . Our reserve is located on the edge of the desert, near to Mc Carthy's Rust ( 4 km ), a frontier post on the border between South Africa and Botswana . We are situated in Northern Cape Province, a 6 and a half hour drive from Johannesburg airport (about 600 km) and about 5 hours from Kimberley (administrative centre of the province).
